The following is a list of possible items needed to tag your items:

Safety pins (to attach tags to clothing)
White card stock (to print tags)
Clear packing tape (to tape tags onto clear bags and/or other packaging)
Masking tape/painters tape (to tape tags onto furniture or other items that you don't want damaged)
Wire hangers or other sturdy hangers (to hang clothes and/or baby carriers)
Clear plastic bags (to keep like items together or all pieces/parts of something together)
Plastic wrap (to wrap around puzzles and other items with parts so the buyer can see everything)
Curling ribbon and/or zip ties (to attach shoes or other items together)
Rubber bands (to keep shoes or other items together)
Batteries (for all items that light up/make sounds so the buyer can ensure it works)
Febreze (to make sure the clothes smell fresh)
Magic Eraser (to clean up any minor markings on items)
Armor All (to clean up outdoor plastic toys)

The following are specific directions on tagging placement for various items:

Clothes: Hang clothes on hanger where the hook points to the left, making a question mark.  With the item facing you, attach tag with #1 or #2 safety pin to the top right side of the item.  For pants and shorts, please make sure to attach to hanger with a safety pin (or two).  Pants without safety pin attachments can easily fall off the hanger, preventing a sale.  Please DO NOT attach tags to clothing with tape or tagging guns. They are very hard to remove and can rip the clothing.

Shoes: For smaller shoes, you can place them in a clear, zip close bag.  Attach the label with tape to the outside of the bag, making sure not to tape over the bar code.  For larger shoes, zip tie and/or lace the shoes together and attach the tag with a whole punch to one of the laces.  You may also want to rubber band the shoes together, as these items tend to get separated during the sale.

Safety items: The preferred method is to put like items in a clear zip close bag or include various items in a "grab bag."  Close the top of the bag and attach label to the front of the bag with tape, making sure not to tape over the barcode.

Furniture: Please come to the drop off appointment, prepared to assemble any crib, changing table, etc. if necessary.  These items are usually good sellers, but only when put together so the buyer can see all of the parts.  Attach label in prominent position with painters tape all the way around, making sure not to tape over the bar code.
